So I was going home last night from work and i jump onto the 7 train as it was about to depart...walking from car to car was a bitch because it was so packed due to rush hour. But anyway as i enter another car, i hear clicks and snips coming from the other end of the car - assuming that somebody was cutting their nails, i was instantly annoyed. so i'm making my way to the other end to get to the other car and sure enough it was a guy taking up the 2-seater and cutting his nails casually. I wanted to ask him why the hell he was doing that.  Doesn't he realize that it's all fun and games until somebody gets hurt? not that cutting your nails is super fun or anything, but what if one of his nails flew and poked my eye out? that shit is dangerous, son!!! but i guess i'd be kinda safe because i wear glasses. another bad scenario is if one of his nails flew into someones mouth. nobody wants to see your fucking nails fly everywhere...nobody wants to taste where your hands have been.  oh god, that's just disgusting. i'd rather sit next to a drunk who just ate a messy ass sandwich with crumbs on his face as he sleeps with his body leaning towards me – which has happened...and it's ok, do what you gotta do but don't threaten other peoples safety.

i was at the Teedra Moses show last week and this kid, Ohmega Watts opened up for her...all i can say is FRESH. i haven't heard dope beats with a fusion of funk and soul in a minuuuute.  lyrics are deep, meaningful and intelligent. i can't get over the beats and bass lines. if you're a fan of ATCQ, De La Soul, Dilla, etc....you. will. dig. it.

So i'm moving my car this morning because of the stupid ass alternate side parking rules...and i'm listening to Miss Jones on Hot 97 and they decided to prank call a woman that posted an ad for her 1989 Datsun. The prank caller from Hot 97 was offering cash for a pet Dachshund and went on a rant about how "he/she" used to have a brown Dachshund when she was little. After a few words of exchange the call ended with the Datsun lady telling "him/her" to get back on the boat and go back to where you came from. What a bitch.
