Movie review--"Ratatouille"

I went to see Ratatouille this weekend. Ending very good...the whole beginning and middle parts...not so much. Here are the film's problems as far as I see it:
1) Boring.
2) Not so funny.
3) They use Patton Oswalt as their protagonist, a tremendous standup comedian in his own right, and then don't allow him to say anything that's actually funny. Just that shlock cliche stuff you know is going to happen.
4) There aren't any strong "characters." Pixar has built an empire on cliched stories because they've always had great characters. This movie? No. There is ONE strong character and he appears for .30 seconds in the opening of the film and then re-appears to make the ending of the movie strong.
5) Kinda boring.
6) Pick your nose boring.

4 Year olds will enjoy this movie because they have the minds of 4 year olds. Possibly 6 year olds.
